section 4: how long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Analytics data is retained indefinitely.

Contact forms are held for one year.

For all other services, we will retain your Personal Data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law.

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Our website is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that a child under the age of 18 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to remove such data. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us at hello@theunofficialflorence.com. By using the website, you are representing to us that you are not under the age of 18.
